Impressive Results, I'm Definitely Sold!
I have been using BlackDogLED lights from day one, since they opened their doors with the 1st model, then upgraded to 2nd and 3rd generation models but something changed and I had to move and lost all my available space which got reduced significantly and I'm limited on height to to 6.5 ft and the issue with BlackDogLED lights they need 29" between the canopy and the light which significantly reduced available height to 2-3 feet so after seeing Jeremy Silva CEO of BuildASoil using these lights I saw excellent results so I went to the website and learned that I can hang these lights 12" above the canopy and decided to try them. I bought 4 Magnolia 2 EVO lights for 3 spaces of two 3x2 feet closets and 30x48 inch grow tent which is the biggest I can fit and even though I wanted the Magnolia 4 EVO I couldn't fit it in any of my spots so I used one light in each closet and two lights in my 2.5x4' tent and I'm already on my 4th cycle and I'm IMPRESSED. I've been growing bud for over 15 years and switched to LEDs back in 2012 and I went through a couple dozen lights from very cheap to very expensive and it was hard to find a company with quality bulbs, and honest parameters because most lied about their PPFD output and area coverage especially Chinese lights to this day their lying and selling lights with supposedly 3000 Watts but in reality only pulling 150-300w from the wall, says that cover 4x4' but in reality barely 2x2 and uneven and outer perimeter barely gets any light. There are a few good companies I highly recommend out of very expensive and average cost like HighGrove, BlackDogLED, HLG, KindLED, Fohse, and cheap also American company but equivalent in quality except you get more bang for your buck is MedicGrowLights literally all of their lights will give you excellent results so if you're on a budget and can't afford HighGrove Magnolia EVO lights, then MedicGrowLights is your best option because you get 5 great warranty and 2.8 to 2.9 μmol/J with a bulb lifespan of 50,000+ hours. These type of lights with these specs are selling for much more. What I REALLY liked about Magnolia 2 EVO lights is that they all come with UV bulbs, full spectrum, PPE of 2.8 μmol/J, 5 year warranty, made in USA, 50,000+ hours on bulbs, and PPFD of 985 µmol/m²s which is all you need to get a good yield at home. If I had unlimited height I'd continue using BlackDogLED lights because they're really top dogs in the industry with patented spectrum technology and I'd say they're equivalent to Fohse lighting company but both are expensive and require almost 3 feet space from the canopy. If you can afford Magnolia EVO lights and want to have a light that can be hung 12" above the canopy, then take my word for it....you'll be very impressed like I was and will be glad you went with this company. You'll definitely get your money's worth, that I can guarantee! I hope this review helps making a decision. Happy Growing ?
