Why Highgrove

Car enthusiasts have a term for a vehicle that looks slow, or mundane or ho-hum - but when the light turns green you understand why it's called a sleeper.

We are that LED grow light.  It looks like a standard design that doesn't grab attention with adjustable spectrum and digital wi-fi controls.  It looks like an analog machine which is precisely what we went for.

A sleeper grow light - a very powerful and intentionally designed light that subtly embraces classic LED luminaire design principals and builds upon emerging product enhancements.

We always use heatsinks because they increase the overall surface area which allows for improved transference of heat.  These basic looking heatsinks rely on anodized aluminum and precise height and widths to maintain optimal levels.  A design that also honors tight operating constraints and/or limited airflow for cooling.

Waterproof LED coating as well as water tight electrical connections make these lights safe to operate in wet and damp conditions.  Over 5 mil thickness of copper - 150% the average - sandwiched in our PC boards hidden under the LEDs helps to spread the heat and improve overall heat shedding capacity of the LED boards.

Occasionally parts fail and we maintain stock of replacement parts for all our lights in our Southern California warehouse for priority shipping of all your replacement needs should they arise.

We have been in the lighting industry for over 17 years and worked closely on product development with Osram and Philips lighting.  Our group of dedicated lighting professionals have been working together for over 15 years on bringing the finest products and service to our customers.  We hope we get the opportunity to do the same for you.
